This is a very rare world class jewel and worth a trip from anywhere on earth to see. It is on display in our Stamford Connecticut showroom. This is not going to be easy to describe. I will do my best, please look at all the pictures as well. This is a truly beautiful ring. Hand made ring signed Robert in Platinum new old stock with open scroll work sides and bead set diamond detailing. The setting came to us from a mid west jeweler who had very fine items who closed his shop. We put the main stones in. The sides stones are extra fine gem blue emerald cut Sapphires, clear and very bright. The center Sapphire is incredibly rare light pink old cut Sapphire from an estate. The shape is octagonal, the cut is modified with a raised crown and small table. Circa 1920-1930. The stone is GIA certified as 3.57ct, 9.22 x 6.93 x 5.80mm. Near colorless natural corundum Sapphire. The stone shows evidence of the lowest levels of simple seat treatment -TE. No other residue or enhancements at all. Again the color is a natural very light pink almost white color. The stone actually looks more like a diamond than a Sapphire. Overall this is an incredibly rare one of a kind piece of jewelry. Excellent condition, no repairs or defects. 28 round diamonds approx. total weight .14cts. 2 emerald cut blue Sapphires 6 x 4mm approx. total weight2.25cts. 1 GIA certified (#1122195845) octagonal shape natural corundum Sapphire 3.57ct, 9.22 x 6.93 x 5.80mm. Plat Robert. 9.4 grams. Width: 9.2mm. Size 5 and sizeable.
