One of the finest diamonds currently being offered in the world in it's original hand made extra special hand made Platinum setting. GIA certified D color, the best in the world, VVS clarity, just one grade under flawless. Original 1940's transitional cut with 57.6% depth for a diameter of 6.58mm with 1.01ct weight. Transitional 65% table. Exceptional brilliance. Medium blue florescence with out any cloudiness gives an even whiter that D color. This is a beautiful rare one of a kind diamond ring. Excellent condition, no repairs or defects. Of all the diamond I have ever seen, this is one of the finest. The cutting is to the standards of the 1940's transitional with more diameter less depth and more table. This yields less total weight than the modern cut of today but more diameter and exceptional brilliance.
