A rare piece of military horological history, this sterling silver wristwatch was produced by CHF Tissot & Fils during the World War I era, believed to be associated with Signal Corps issue or use. Signal Corps watches from this period were essential field instruments, relied upon by soldiers for precise timing of communications, troop movements, and coordinated operations — making surviving examples both historically significant and increasingly scarce.

Housed in a solid silver case, engraved case back. Leather strap.this wristwatch reflects the transitional design of early 20th-century timepieces, as pocket watches gave way to the wrist-worn styles favored by soldiers in the field. The dial, hands, and case bear the hallmarks of early Tissot craftsmanship, offering collectors a tangible connection to wartime engineering and military history.

A compelling addition for vintage watch collectors, militaria enthusiasts, or anyone drawn to pieces with genuine historical provenance.
