Authentic original Victorian 1850 to1860 14k hand made granulated top slightly greenish gold pendant locket. The front is set with a beautiful hand carved Carnelian hardstone Cameo of a helmeted solider. Original frames backing and glass. The carving is signed Mears and with Symbols I do not know the meaning of, and inverted "V" followed by what looks like ZEDG then PV. The chain is original handmade green gold as well. Excellent condition, no repairs or defects. 1 rectangular Carnelian hardstone cameo 7/16 x 11/16 inch. Tested: 14k. 30.3 grams including bale. Chain: 20 1/4 inches.
